Extract or separate PDF pages

Enter page numbers and ranges to create one or more smaller PDFs. Within each output, the order follows your range expression; pages you leave out are not included.

How to enter ranges

  • 1-3 creates one PDF containing pages 1, 2, and 3.
  • 1-3; 4-6 creates two separate PDF files.
  • 4, 1-2 extracts pages in the order 4, 1, 2.
  • Each source page can appear only once across all output files.

Browser and output limits

For memory safety, the tool accepts one PDF up to 25 MB and 250 pages. It creates at most 20 outputs with a combined size of 125 MB. PDF forms, bookmarks, annotations, attachments, layers, and signatures may not be preserved when pages are copied. Password-protected PDFs are not supported.

Frequently asked questions

How do I save separate page groups?

Separate output groups with semicolons. For example, 1-3; 4-6 creates two downloadable PDFs, one for pages 1–3 and one for pages 4–6.

Can I change the order of extracted pages?

Yes. List pages and ranges in the desired order, such as 4, 1-2 to create a PDF with source page 4 first, then pages 1 and 2.

Are my PDFs uploaded?

No. The selected PDF is read and split locally in your browser; its contents are not sent to a conversion service.
